This was taken back in April when a friend’s Iris garden was in bloom. All the flowers were very pretty, I finally had a chance to look through them, and this was one of my favorites.

This was scale model steam train we saw when we went to Maker Faire. The neat thing was it was a functioning steam train, they poured water in, and steam came out as it went around the track. The whole day at the faire was fun, there was lots to see and do.

We were invited to a ranch a while back. It was a lot of fun, there was a tractor ride, the kids were able to operate a backhoe, which mine found very exciting. They had a dog, many cows, lots of chickens, and you guessed it a llama. It was kind of out of place, but it was pretty cool to see up close and in person.

This was at another wedding I attended recently, and boy were these yummy. They are as good as they look. Now I just need to finish sorting through the rest of the ~500 pictures I took that day and I’ll be set.

It’s been a while since I uploaded a picture. Between the busy schedule and some computer trouble it took me a while. But here it is, a cup and bottle from an Alice in Wonderland themed wedding I attended. It was very creative theme and it was fun, Congrats guys!

Now I find my self a little behind, amazing how easy it is to get busy with life. Maybe I can catch up since it’s only one week behind. Here is a beach in San Diego in February, yeah they don’t really get winter. It was very pretty.

This was taken in 2006 with my fil’s 25 year old film slr. It worked good, was pictured in the last post. It was a lot of fun using that camera during that trip. Though I burned through 12 rolls in about 4-5 days. With my digital slr I probably would have dwarfed it, since I was conserving shots then.

…for that perfect shot. I hope to use this challenge to improve my photography so this was an attempt at a self portrait. In the shot is my father-in-laws manual film slr, which I find very enjoyable shooting with. Though a bit more work to get the results vs my D40. This one is later than I wanted due to some computer problems, but that’s all resolved now. Enjoy.

Continuing the challenge from the last two weeks here is my third entry to the group. It was harder to think of a good picture for the theme which is currently resolution, so I decided to be very literal and take a picture of the definition of the word from our dictionary.

Continuing with the challenge from PhotoChallenge, this my second entry for Resolution. I wanted to remind my self to read more books so I took a picture of the books I currently have on my reading list for this year. Again here is the flickr group stream.
